Metaverse is a virtual world where people can interact and engage with others through avatars and visual representations. The Metaverse can be accessed via virtual reality or augmented reality technology and can offer a range of social, educational, job training, medical, shopping and gaming experiences for individuals and businesses alike.
Cryptocurrency: There are multiple ways to trade in the Metaverse, including cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and Non-fungible Tokens (NFTs), which can be used to purchase items or services within the Metaverse. Users can also use the Metaverse as a platform to store their personal data, like bank statements or credit card information, which can be accessed from any device.
Game: Many of the major gamers are already making their way into the Metaverse, such as Epic Games with its game Fortnite. These companies are trying to bring the Metaverse to life by providing more and more immersive games for users.
Work Collaboration: Many companies are already creating 3D workspaces in the Metaverse where employees can collaborate and meet with each other in the same way that they would in their actual workplace. The technology could help to increase teleworker camaraderie, improve collaboration, speed up training and reduce the need for office space.
Facebook: The social media giant has already partnered with several virtual world developers and will continue to do so as it builds its own Metaverse. Among its partners are Mesmerise, which helps enterprises set up and manage virtual workplaces, and VR tech vendor Nvidia, which offers a metaverse platform called MESH for businesses.
