This virtual world could be available to Teams users as early as 2022.
The Metaverse’s ecosystem will be driven by entrepreneurs who will provide services and content that will benefit the metaworld. To keep the platform running smoothly, businesses must find ways to monetize their services. For example, a virtual cinema could issue non-fungible tokens to allow users to watch movies. Alternatively, a gaming company could sell tokens that allow users to enter exclusive areas.
The Metaverse is a virtual world that’s increasingly becoming popular. With its growing popularity, Facebook and other companies are already exploring its commercial potential. The concept of a shared virtual space has a wide range of applications, from games to live-streaming and social media. The company’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, is already looking at commercial uses of the metaverse.
