In this interview with Meta Money, Ben talks metaverse experiences. Comparable to the choice between owning something like Mona Lisa or a Bored Ape 10 years ago, what would someone choose now? It’s similar to the experiences. What will matter most in the future?

Facebook’s Metaverse – The Future of Gaming?
Facebook’s recent demonstration of a metaverse is a good example of the kind of art that prefigures such a project. This bland, stylized art reflects how companies believe people’s dreams would appear. As a result, many people are skeptical of Facebook’s promises to build a metaverse that is free of privacy concerns. But what does the future hold for the Metaverse? Here are some of the things we know so far.
As for how it will benefit brands, it depends on the use case. For example, Apple is expected to launch an AR/VR headset in the coming year, and Apple fans are among its most loyal fans. This could potentially expose a new consumer segment to the metaverse. Similarly, car manufacturers can use the metaverse to launch new vehicles and attract Gen-Z supporters. Community-minded groups or non-profits can also use the Metaverse to engage new supporters or advocates.
A new concept called the metaverse has recently captivated the tech industry. Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook’s CEO, recently discussed it during a company call, calling it “the next big thing.” He described Facebook as a “metaverse company,” and even rebranded its company as Meta. This new name reflects the company’s desire to extend beyond social networking and into the real world. The social network giant has invested heavily in virtual reality and plans to launch a beta version of its platform in 2021.
Neal Stephenson’s novel Snow Crash introduced the concept of the metaverse. It describes the possibility of a cyberpunk world where physical reality and virtual reality merge. However, the concept remains controversial. It is largely based on the ambitions of the people who use it. As a result, many argue that the Metaverse will be a better place than we think. But is it really worth all the hype? How about the future of gaming?
