Crypto analyst and trader Jason Pizzino is optimistic that Bitcoin will hit a seven-figure price over time.

In a new video update, Pizzino tells his 263,000 YouTube subscribers that it’s β€œnot too far out of the question” for the king cryptocurrency to rally by around 25 times and reach a price of $1,000,000 per BTC.

β€œA 25x might seem like it’s a little far-fetched. But as we can see from December 2018 to the current top in 2021 in November, it’s basically been a 22x return. So 2,100% here. So it’s not too far out of the question. But I just think it’s going to take a lot more time than people are expecting.”

Will Facebook Create a Metaverse?

In its simplest form, the term Metaverse refers to the continuum of immersive digital experiences in which users are immersed in multiple experiences. Metaverses can range from massive virtual reality multiplayer games to experiencing physical and digital spaces together. Smartphones or digital glasses could also be used to access location-specific immersive digital content. In the coming years, the Metaverse will become a thriving industry in which billions of people are able to interact in a variety of ways.

Despite these ambitious plans, Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg hasn’t explicitly declared his company’s intention to create a metaverse. The company is best placed to make an informed decision based on what the Metaverse offers. It will create a larger social graph for the company to tap into and will ultimately represent a new computing and engagement platform. Developing its own metaverse will also give Facebook the opportunity to extend its reach further up the stack. Facebook has made several attempts to develop consumer hardware and deploy an OS for it. However, it remains stuck in the app/service layer.

For the most part, a metaverse is not yet a well-defined concept, but one thing is for sure: it will be real. It will involve the use of VR headsets or augmented reality glasses to access the shared virtual world. For example, holographic images could be projected into the real world. In the near future, architects could display digital building plans in physical offices. And friends could attend concerts without physically being present. That is the vision of the metaverse.
