Bitcoin History Lesson

In the 2018 bear market, many people thought the bottom was around $6k because it held support for quite some time. All it took however was one negative catalyst, and in one month the price dropped another 50% to around $3,200. DCA right now, but keep money on the side if we go lower.

The Metaverse Is Currently Being Explored by Microsoft and Facebook

The term Metaverse comes from a combination of the words “meta” and “universe.” It’s a shared virtual world in which users can buy and sell land and buildings, create avatars, and attend events. People can also use cryptocurrency to make purchases and pay for services. The Metaverse is one of the most intriguing future technologies, and is currently being investigated by Microsoft and Facebook.

Entrepreneurs will be the driving force of the metaverse. They will offer services and create content that people will find useful. They will need a way to monetize their services. For example, an online cinema could issue tokens for movie viewing rights. Tokens could also be used for other purposes, including access to events and closed-door clubs.

The company behind the Metaverse has received funding from a number of sources. Animoca Brands, which owns popular video game franchises, is a major investor. It has partnered with Winkelvoss Capital, Soros Fund Management, and Sequoia China. In January, it raised $360 million and is valued at $5 billion.

In the past few years, several big tech companies and individuals have invested billions of dollars in the virtual space. By 2021, sales of digital property will reach $500 million, but that’s only a fraction of the total sales of physical real estate. Many individuals and companies are turning to the virtual real estate market due to its long-term growth potential. Many of these investors are hoping that there will be room to profit in the metaverse, either from rent payments or virtual scarcity.
