With the Bitcoin price currently below $30,000, Scott Minerd, the chief investment officer of global investment giant Guggenheim Partners, believes the value of the king crypto (BTC) could further dip to $8,000 per coin.
Minerd made the bearish prediction on Monday (May 23, 2022), during an interview on CNBCβs Squawk Box at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
βWhen you break below 30,000 [dollars] consistently, 8,000 [dollars] is the ultimate bottom, so I think we have a lot more room to the downside, especially with the Fed being restrictiveβ.

The Future of the Metaverse Will Be Accessible Through Desktop Computers, Game Consoles, and Virtual Reality Headsets
In 2021, the metaverse will be accessed through desktop computers, game consoles, and virtual reality glasses and headsets. It will allow millions of users to collaborate, work, and play in one space. Today, companies such as Decentraland are creating digital spaces and have sold plots for as much as $2.43 million. The company behind Fortnite is planning to launch Fold in 2020 and is planning a $1 billion funding round. To learn more about the future of the Metaverse, read on.
The Metaverse is a virtual environment where players can represent themselves using avatars. Their activities in this virtual world reflect the real world. They can create and sell items, trade, and reward other players with virtual goods and services. The Metaverse seamlessly merges gaming, virtual reality, and live streaming. Players can use the same digital art piece across multiple games, and they can share it with other users. They can also play games using the same avatar.
Entrepreneurs will also drive the metaverse’s economy. Users will be able to create and sell virtual items and services, and will be able to transact with them using their own Roblox currency. This new economy will also involve blockchain, and users will be able to mint virtual assets known as NFTs. The NFTs will be used for transactions in the blockchain, and Instagram will launch their own version of this currency in the “next few months.”
