Facebook, Microsoft, and other technology giants have been acquiring virtual land for their own uses and for the Metaverse. However, the hype surrounding the Metaverse is already driving investments from technology titans and gaming giants. Big firms are using the technology to create Metaverses that are based on a vast variety of technologies.
